As part of the Isar Medical Centre, both Isar Hospital and Pettenkofer Hospital are available for inpatient treatment. Renowned specialists with long-term experience in either hospital take care of their patient's wellbeing.

Isar Hospital

Isar Hospital is open for patients with any type of health insurance and is part of the hospital plan of the Free State of Bavaria. The main Departments of this hospital comprise Surgery and Internal Medicine and directly linked to them are the wards used by our affiliated consultants, such as ENT, Orthopaedics, Urology, Surgery and Internal Medicine.

All medical equipment conforms to state-of-the-art technology and this especially applies to the operating theatres with laminar airflow and the centrally monitored intensive care unit. 

On top of this, our patients enjoy the best possible services in their patient rooms - starting with the convenient interior to the Entertainment System and up to à la carte dining. And of course there is the care by our nursing staff.

Pettenkofer Hospital

The Private Hospital of the Isar Medical Center offers comfort to the standard of 5-star hotels for private patients, for patients with statutory insurance plus supplementary insurance and to those covering their own costs.

The specializations of the Pettenkofer Hospital include Surgery (General, Vascular, Plastic, Thoracic, Visceral, Spinal Surgery and Neurosurgery. The offer of a comprehensive check-up completes our portfolio.

For their in-patient stay, patients may choose a single room or one of the three suites available - all of them are spacious, having the most modern design and their own roof terrace overlooking the city centre of Munich. The nursing and service staffs offer unequalled total care.
