More Comfort and Service for your Stay
 

Optional services are special services exceeding the standard services covered by the public health insurance and adding up to more comfort and service for our patients during their stay.

Optional services include:

•  Hospital admission at the patient room on request
• Accomodation in a single or double bed room in a very beautiful location
• Enhanced à la carte dining
• Changing of towels and bedding on a daily basis

  If you wish to enjoy the optional services, please let us know at least one week before your in-patient stay starts. This is so that we will be able to make the necessary arrangements.

Admission

Your doctor will register you at the hospital for your in-patient stay. Please contact patient admission (089 – 149 903-1000), if you have questions regarding the admission procedure.

The admission procedure will take place at the patient admission office of the Isar Hospital, based on the 2nd floor. Our patients who have chosen the optional services are offered to do this in their patient room.

Single or Double Room

At the Isar Hospital we offer single, double- and three- bed rooms. Accommodation in a three-bed room is a standard service covered by the statutory health insurance. Patients with optional services may stay in a one or double-bed room upon request (for an extra fee).

These rooms are situated in the building of the Isar Hospital, having a very beautiful location. With sunshine at lunchtime, in the afternoon and in the evening, facing towards a quiet patio or the lively Sonnenstr in the city centre of Munich. (All rooms have soundproof windows).

Dining à la carte and fruit service

You may choose from a selection of various newspapers and you will get your favoured one with your breakfast.

In addition to lunch, patients with optional services are offered premium meals, which you may order every day for the following day. A selection of freshly prepared cakes will be served with the afternoon tea or coffee. Mineral waters and various fruit juices are provided free of charge by the nursing staff for patients with optional services.

On the admission day, patients can expect a choice of fresh fruits on their single or double room. And they will be replaced every morning.

Towel and Bedding Service

Apart from the outstanding care by our healthcare professionals, an enjoyable environment contributes to the patient’s convalescence. The single and double bed rooms of the Isar Hospital have windows, and together with the bright interior and furnishings made from pear wood, they create a friendly atmosphere. The bathrooms have natural-coloured flagstones, giving comforting warmth and a lot of brightness to the room.

Patients of the Isar Hospital with optional services may benefit from a daily change of towels and a daily change of bedding is available, too.
